The Creative Spark I Didn’t Expect

It all starts with an idea. Recently, I decided to try a Reiki session. If you’re not familiar with Reiki, that’s totally fine. I’ll share more about it another time, along with why it has inspired me to take certain steps in my life. During the session, I kept hearing the same message: I needed to lean into my creativity. My sacral chakra, the energy center tied to creativity, had been shut down for far too long.

This wasn’t the first time I had been told that in a Reiki session, so I finally decided to take action, starting small. I went to the store and picked up a few supplies, mostly painting products, even though I hadn’t painted in years. I figured, why not?

Here’s the funny part. I still haven’t actually picked up the brush to paint on the canvas. But that moment sparked something bigger. It gave me the idea to create this website. A space where I can share the crafts and creative projects I love, and hopefully inspire others to tap into their own creativity. Even if you don’t think you’re the creative type, sometimes all it takes is a little nudge to try something new. And who knows, you just might discover something you absolutely love.
